Zoya is Otis's cousin from Russia.
History[]
When she comes over from Russia, she works as a bartender for Molly's. Before the opening night for Molly's, Otis talks to her in Russian and he thinks she is going to bring a chimpanzee to the opening. It turns out that she actually was saying champion not chimpanzee, two similar words in Russian. She brought the Stanley Cup to the bar.
She has a short fling with Kelly Severide. Joe Cruz is upset by this because he likes Zoya, too.
Joe gets his shot with Zoya when he finds out she has to leave for Russia. He proposes to her so that she may stay. She initially accepts his proposal, but later, Zoya breaks off the engagement since she doesn't want to take advantage of Joe. She told Otis that she saw him as a good person and begged him to tell Joe this news because she did not want to hurt him. She leaves for Russia without telling Joe.
