Summary[]

Plot[]

Dawson and Brett get a call for a young girl on a school trip. She is having a baby but didn’t know it and is worried about her fathers reaction. Casey is still upset about losing Louie and is packing up his room and taking his upset out on the firehouse when he learns that a mouse was in the cabinets.

When the girls father shows up, he’s upset his daughter had a baby and he lets her know that if she keeps it, she must go live with her Aunt. Dawson, also still smarting over losing Louie, lashes out about supporting his kid.

During a fire, Casey opts to save a girl and not an older guy. He and Severide go back in for the guy but the fire burns too hot and they have to go. There is no body when they go in when the fire is out but the guy had pulled a gun on Casey when he made the choice to save the girl and it bothers him. The OFI finds that someone could have escaped via a hatch they found in the basement that led to a secret door out back.

The girls Aunt Theresa reams Dawson out for her treatment of the dad. He had stepped up when his wife skipped out and taken a pay cut all to be with his daughter so Dawson goes over and apologizes.

Severide asks Anna to stay but Stella is feeling a little hurt seeming to have thought that her non-relationship with Kelly might happen.

Casey works to track down his missing victim. Herrmann takes Casey and Dawson to task for how they are taking their pain out on everyone around them.

Casey and Dawson bring some of their baby items to the little girl that was born. She is living with Dad and the baby was named Gabby, in honor of Dawson.
