Summary[]
Six months have passed since the events of Season 11, Mouch managed to survive a near fatal event and is back in the action, while Stella and Kelly have reunited. Brett has accepted Casey's proposal, meanwhile, Gallo made the decision to relocate to Detroit with his aunt.

Chicago Fire was renewed for a twelfth season in April 2023, along with its sister shows, Chicago PD and Chicago Med.[1]
It was confirmed by NBC[2] that due to the SAG-AFTRA strike[3], the entire One Chicago franchise (Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med) would be delayed to 2024. The number of episodes was also cut down to 13.
Fire airs on Wednesdays at 9PM EST, preceded by Med at 8PM EST and followed by PD at 10PM EST.[4]
