While tending to him, Gianna is scared to watch Brett have a gun held to her head by the man's brother who threatens them to help his brother or die. However, she is amazed that Brett keeps her cool and talks him down before taking the brother to the ambulance to transport him to the hospital. Afterwards, she tries to talk with Gallo again but noticed that he is nervous around the observing Cruz. Gianna decides to make further drama for both of them by jokingly making a date on the weekend. However, they are trapped inside the down ambulance but after breaking free they start to wonder if the gunman is still out there. Soon they are able to get free before Casey and the rest of the team show up. They also find out the gunman is still trapped in his car, where he is begging for help while despite his actions Sylvie frees him and gets him the medical attention he deserves. Gallo also bandages her up and the two go back to the house, rather than going to Chicago Med. Later on, Gianna blows off her stress by exercising at the football stadium. She soon says she is unsure on whether to stay at the house or transferring but Cruz brings up his promise to her brother and reassures her.
