Dennis Mack is a District Chief in the city of Springfield, Illinois and an old acquaintance to Benny Severide. He sought out Kelly Severide in taking a position of Battalion Chief in Springfield.
Introduction[]
- "This is Dennis Mack. He's an old friend of Benny`s from way back". A member of the team asks him "How do you know Benny?", he replies, "I'm a District Chief in Springfield. Saw Benny at a the regional conferences each year. We bonded over our hunting and fishing addictions. "Chief Mack is retiring next month"
- He thought before he retired, he would spend some time in other cities to see if the city of Springfield FD could do things better.
