When she and her brother Matthew were young, their mother killed their father after finally being fed up with his verbal abuse.

As adults, Christie and Matt were distant following their father's death; however, they have since mended their relationship. Christie also came to forgive their mother for the past and slowly rebuilt her relationship with her.

She returns in Season 9, to inform Matt of their uncle Jake dying. She is surprised that her uncle left them a watch worth a fortune. She and her brother both came to a debate on what to do about it since it meant a lot to their leader and cool and because they might need the money.

After situation is cleared out, Christie tells Matthew that he needs to go see a doctor and she had noticed his recurring headache grab their time together stating it’s her job as your sister to notice.
