Hello and welcome to Chicago Fire Wiki! We hope you stick around and become a valued member of our community.

What topics are covered on this wiki?[]

We cover everything related to Chicago Fire, including its seasons and episodes, its characters and the cast who portrays them.

Please note that Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med have their own wikis. All three wikis are run by the same team of administrators. We are in no way affiliated with NBC or Wolf Entertainment.

How can I get started?[]

Ready to jump in? Here are some suggestions for things you can do, in order from easiest to more challenging:

Wondering where you will have the most impact? When it comes to creating and maintaining wikis, and making them accessible to as wide an audience as possible, it's important to remember that content is king, so expanding articles with new information or updating existing information maximizes your impact.

What are the rules for contributing?[]

Our rules are an extension of the Fandom Community Guidelines, please familiarize yourself with them before you read on. In addition to the Fandom Community Guidelines, we ask that you adhere to the following:

  • Be civil. Keep in mind that everyone has a different point of view, and that English may not be every user's native language;
  • Be respectful of other peoples' contributions. Your contributions should build on the work done by people who came before you. If you significantly revamp another user's contribution, consider sending them a message about it on their Message Wall;
  • When in doubt, discuss changes you want to make in the article's comments section at the bottom of the page, and try to come to a consensus. If you are curious what other users are discussing, you can check out the Social Activity feed. You should leave the heavy lifting, such as moving pages, to a moderator or administrator;
  • Articles should be written from a neutral point of view, and should not include spoilers for episodes that have not aired yet, personal opinion, fanfiction or speculation. This wiki uses American English spelling and grammar;
  • Do not make changes to templates or other general systems of the wiki itself without asking an administrator first;
  • Do not upload or copy-paste copyrighted content unless permitted by fair use (e.g., short quotes). All copyrighted material should be accurately attributed;
  • Always provide a summary of the edits you made, even if they are minor. To help you remember this, update your Fandom Preferences to remind you: under the "Editing" tab, put a check mark before the "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" option.

Who enforces the rules?[]

Since a wiki is a collaborative effort first and foremost, we are all here to keep an eye on each other. In the case of a dispute between users or a question over wiki policy or editing style, the administration team will have the final say.

How can I get help?[]

Here are some ways you can get help when you need it:

  • If you have a question for a specific user, you can post a message on their Message Wall;
  • If you have a question about a specific article, you can post a comment at the bottom of the article's page;
  • If you have a general question or topic you would like to discuss, you can post it to the Community Board;
  • If you are unable to find the answers you need, you can contact an administrator on their Message Wall;
  • We also have a Discord you can join!
