Page protection[]
The majority of pages on the Chicago Fire Wiki will remain unprotected to encourage all users to edit. Pages will only be protected if there is a specific need, such as protecting:
- Frequently vandalised pages
- The site's theming (such as colours, favicon, logo, etc.)
- Templates with complex code
- Community policies or help pages
To request an article be protected or to have the protection level be reviewed, please contact an administrator or content moderator on their message wall.
Blocking[]
In line with Fandom's Wiki Rules and Blocking Policy we will only block users where there are multiple or excessive violations of the above guidelines or where a serious breach of the Fandom Community Guidelines has occurred.
We may block users across our sister wiki's where the blocking admin/moderator believes it to be appropriate. If this is the case, it will be clearly mentioned in the block reason.
