Barry Kimball was the owner of a building that was burned down in an arson fire that killed over three dozen people, including Lexi Olinsky. He was confronted by an angry mob of people who lost loved ones in the fire and was nearly mauled until the CFD saved him. He admitted to OFI that he let some people live in his father's old factory out of the kindness of his heart, but was chastised for not having the building up to code. As he learned of the fatalities increasing, his guilt overwhelmed him to the point where he went into the bathroom of Firehouse 51 and shot himself in the head.
