A Taste of Panama City is the second episode of the fourth season and the 71st overall episode of Chicago Fire.

Summary[]

Following her pregnancy announcement, Dawson is forced behind a desk to investigate fires. Meanwhile, Severide struggles with his new role, and Casey continues his investigation into Nesbitt. Also, Molly's is threatened with closure following a noise complaint.

Plot[]

Internal Affairs investigates Firehouse 51 following a complicated call to a fire. Dawson starts her first day at Arson and learns that her last fire had been arson. Severide continues to spend time with a lawyer.

Casey still thinks of his friend Katya instead of focusing on his future. It causes him to break into Stilettos where he finds her notebook where she wrote everything down. He then leaves Stilettos whilst carrying the book. He carefully leaves with the book sitting on the seat. He is then followed by a white car so Casey tries to ditch the tail. However, he is unable to and learns that it was Nesbit following him and the man points a gun at his head.

Hermann learns that the family who moved in next to Molly's wants to shut them down, claiming a noise complaint. Hermann tries to be nice at first, but is told that her baby is allergic to sugar, so he declares that it is Karaoke night at Molly’s.

Severide is yelled at by Patterson for approaching the guy that Dawson had saved.
